Hey all...so on this eve I leave my dinning room (my humble abode that has so humb-ly housed me and my laundry for the past quarter), I finish my last two papers of the quarter (well, start them really), and plan on what to pack for Italy (do Italians even wear clothing? or just gucci shoes?). It's been so much fun being back, esp. these last few weeks. What has happened you ask? Well, our lacrosse team kicked some major butt...what was that, a three game weekend? Nice! I managed my first kegger...yum yum, st. patty's day was held up to standards and I've seen a lot of very cool people. Minus the foot deal (Not technically broken...but sprained with a chunk of bone torn off...yum yum) and the whole rolling around on Pauley Pavilion floor after it happened...that had to have been three years of supressed swearing coming out! But I leave for Italy in exactly a week...so excited! You all are obligated to check your email while I'm away so that I can bore you with long winded, "I'm having more fun than you!" emails. And please let me know what you are all up to this summer...before some of you face the real world, you need to face me at least on last time. Ok ok ok, on to the papers. Ciao.

So yes, here it is a Saturday morning, freezing outside, I need a shower, food and about 500 pages of reading done in time so that I can go hang out with the ultra cool Sac-to crew from this summer. That should be fun as I haven't seen most for ever! Then people are coming over, people are going out, people like me need to go to bed early so they can wake up and play four games of lacrosse tomorrow morning at LMU, you know how it goes. Last night was our Lacrosse initiation. It was a lot of fun until someone kicked the crap out of my leg during a fight that broke out. Who am I to complain though? Em. was the one to get a chair in the head. The girls on the team are awesome though, and it seems like it will be a great season for them. I'm sad I wont be here to finish it off with them. I miss lax from last year to, man, that was fun. Steph was sighted out here though before crawling back to Cornell and snow to become the next bizillionare hotel manager. Go Steph! Yeah, so that's all for now folks...I must get a move on. Until next time, this is Woody from the dining room!

Back in Cali...not to worry, I'm still digesting all the Mexican food! It's so good to be back. 5 loads of laundry later, I've been able to relax and get over jet lag. Be prepared, folks, I want to hang out! (Not to worry, I'm running every day and wall ball is on the agenda for tomorrow!)

So it's thrusday, do you know what that means?
Last day at Potbelly's
Second to last night in DC
I've got to find the ticket to LAX on Saturday
I still need to enroll in classes
I'll need to break out the LAX stick in 48 hours
San Diego needs to prepare a massive supply of mexican food in preparation for my return
Yes, and it's supposed to snow tonight!
Watching it snow had to be the coolest thing! Call me a dork, but snow/ice skating in Rockefeller/being with my Ami was probably the perfect experience (ok, you must understand that I've never seen it actually snow...it was cool!)
Yes, so sit back, don't shed a tear, I will back in Cali on Saturday!

Howdy ho, neighbors!
Let's see, we've had some rain, reported "Snow showers" and some definite 30 degree nips...but overall not much to report by way of exciting DC happenings.
Ah, wait, I've spoken too soon. We have recently remembered the death of JFK, an important rememberance on many levels that I hope you all can appreciate in some shape or form. My roommates and I attended St. Matthew's JFK Memorial service last Saturday. St. Matthews is right across the street and for those of you low on your JFK trivia, it was the church that he went to and where his first memorial service was held. Do you recall the photo of John John saluting his father's cofin? He and his mother and sister were standing on the steps of St. Matthews. It made the whole service rather special. The priest talked of history and what JFK had planned to talk to Dallas about the day he was shot down. After, Senator Ted Kennedy thank us personally for coming with a quick hand shake, true-politician style. It was somber, but at the same time, really neat to be a part of.
I saw the new Matrix movie...wow, can we say stop at 1, folks? The sequal was disappointing, but number 3 was just plain depressing. Of course, if you haven't seen it, hurry up and go see it so you can bitch and moan with the rest of us! It's a pain you must experience!
Thanksgiving was a lot of fun, too. My cousin and her family came down from Boston and we had dinner at her husband's brother's house. For those of you who remember the last time I lived in DC, it was the house that I lived in. My cousin has a 2.5 yr old, Amanda Rose, who I haven't met, so that was quite exciting. She has to be the cutest little girl ever (minus my blood-ties bias)! It was fun. Food was good. Pumpkin pie cheese cake was even better. Although, I will say that East coasters sure eat fast!
Ok, what else? I think that's about the best I can report at this time. If anyone has any suggestions on classes to take this winter, please share...also, if anyone has a bed or mattress they are trying to get rid of...I might be a potential buyer (one of those things, apparently living in a sleeping bag for a quarter is too bohemian for my parents).
